Jeg møter stadig nye spillere hver gang jeg går på banen, fra alle samfunnslag. Velg diskene dine med omhu

Hvis du nettopp har startet, har du kanskje bare 1 eller 2 plater. Antall plater du velger avhenger i stor grad av kurset du spiller, ferdighetsnivået ditt, hva du har lyst til å dra der ute og budsjett. Jeg anbefaler at du har minst 1 putter, 1 mellomrange og 1 fairway- eller distansesjåfør. Det er godt nok å lære på, men du vil snart prøve flere opptak og finne plater som du er komfortabel med og som føles bra for deg. Å forstå flyveien (via plateflynummer) kan være utrolig nyttig for å forbedre spillet ditt. Ta hensyn til dem og lær dem. Når du er klar til å øke spillet litt, vil jeg anbefale en pose som består av:

  • 2 putt & approach-skiver
  • 1-2 mellomstore plater
  • 2-3 fairway-førere

Utvikle fotarbeidet ditt

Behold poengsummen og ikke juks

Det samme gjelder farer og OB. Spor straffer og du vil prøve hardere å unngå dem, det vil gjøre spillet mer teknisk, og du vil være bedre forberedt og mindre skuffet i turneringer og ukeblader.

Øv på putting

Det er en no-brainer. Det er en grunn til at de sier: "Kjør for show, putt for deig." Du kan forbedre spillet ditt drastisk med bedre putting. Jeg har endisc golf kurvi hagen min med avstander merket av 10′, 15′, 20′, 25′ og 30′. Jeg har også en stabel med tilfeldige puttere som jeg har skaffet meg mens jeg prøvde å finne den beste følelsen for hånden min og slippe. Etter å ha prøvd all Aviar-plasten, en Kastoplast og Discraft Roach, har jeg nylig bestemt meg for enD-Line DGA Steady #001.
